Siren & Slate Coaching

the plan isn’t the problem, doing it alone is

Online health coaching for women in midlife

Healthcare gives you the what.
Coaching helps with the how.

You probably already know that nutrition, strength, movement, sleep, stress, and other daily habits matter.

Knowing that doesn’t make them easy to fit into an already full life.

I provide evidence-informed health coaching for women navigating midlife, from perimenopause and menopause to everything else these years bring. You choose what matters most to you, and I help you turn recommendations into realistic changes and build the skills to sustain your progress.

Meet online, from wherever you live

Every appointment happens by video or phone, so you can meet from your kitchen table or your couch. You skip the commute and the waiting room, and coaching fits around your workday instead of competing with your schedule.

Where coaching can help

Perimenopause, menopause, and the years around them can change how you feel and what you need. Together, we turn your priorities into practical steps.

Sleep & energy

Look at sleep schedules, evening habits, and daily demands to identify what could help you feel more rested.

Nutrition & changing weight

Work on meal planning, protein, fiber, and portions with your goals and preferences in mind.

Strength & movement

Make strength training and regular movement part of your week, with a plan you can follow when life gets busy.

Stress & competing demands

Set boundaries, protect time for your health, and plan for the demands that keep pushing it aside.

Understanding your health

Sort through conflicting advice, prepare questions for your clinician, and put healthcare recommendations into practice.

Consistency & follow‑through

Identify where your plans break down, troubleshoot setbacks, and follow through on the goals you set.

What working together looks like

Let’s start with a conversation

We’ll talk about what you want to change, what’s been getting in the way, and what you’re looking for in a coach. I’ll walk you through how I work and answer your questions so we can decide whether we’re a good fit.

Your first coaching call

This is where we get specific. We’ll look at your priorities, your routines, and what you’ve already tried. Together, we’ll build a plan with clear steps so you know what to work on first, and how to get started.

A plan we put into practice

Our check-ins are where we work through what’s going well, what’s getting stuck, and what needs to change. I’ll help you stay accountable to your goals, navigate setbacks, and recognize when you’re ready to push further. As your priorities evolve, we’ll adjust the plan with purpose.

Between calls, you’ll have support by email, text, or the client portal, depending on your package.

Skills that move you forward

You’ll learn to recognize what’s getting in your way, build habits that fit your life, and adjust when life changes. As we work toward your goals, you’ll build the skills and confidence to keep making progress, even when the week doesn’t go to plan.

Where coaching fits

Coaching helps you put health goals into practice. It doesn’t include medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or replace care from your healthcare team. We can work on sleep habits, for example, while your clinician addresses any underlying concerns.

Specialized nutrition and training, such as bodybuilding or competition prep, fall outside my coaching services. If your goals call for that expertise, I’ll help you recognize when additional support is needed and work alongside the guidance you receive.
