Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of sirenandslate.com (the “Website”), which is operated by Siren and Slate Coaching, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Educational Information Only; No Medical Advice. 1.1 The Website provides general educational information about health and wellness. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace care from your healthcare providers. 1.2 Nothing on the Website creates a nurse-patient, provider-patient, or coaching relationship. A coaching relationship is created only when you sign a separate client coaching agreement with us and we accept your enrollment. 1.3 Always consult your healthcare provider before changing any medication, supplement, nutrition, or exercise program. If you think you have a medical emergency, call 911. If you are in emotional crisis or considering self-harm, call or text 988.
2. Use of the Website. 2.1 You may use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. 2.2 We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time without notice.
3. Our Content. 3.1 The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, the quiz, and the Slate Letter, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. 3.2 You may view and share links to the Website. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or distribute our content without our prior written permission, except for brief quotations with credit to Siren and Slate Coaching and a link to the Website.
4. The Quiz and the Newsletter. 4.1 The quiz is for educational and self-reflection purposes only. Its results are not a medical assessment or diagnosis. 4.2 If you sign up for our email list or newsletter, you agree to receive emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Statement.
5. Third-Party Links and Services. The Website may link to or use services run by others, such as scheduling, email, and payment providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties. The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error free, or that its information is complete or current. We do not guarantee any result from using the Website or its information.
7. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siren and Slate Coaching, LLC and its member will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Coaching Services. Coaching services are governed by the client coaching agreement, not by these Terms. If these Terms and a signed client coaching agreement conflict, the client coaching agreement controls for the coaching services.
9. Governing Law and Disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any legal action relating to the Website must be brought in the state courts located in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
10. Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed. Your continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
